About the Service
Early rehabilitation is comprehensive support provided by a team of specialists for a child with developmental disorders and their family.

Early rehabilitation services are provided to children from birth to 7 years of age (up to 6 years and 11 months). During each early rehabilitation course, the specialist team consists of a physician and at least two other team specialists. A developmental assessment is carried out and an individual early rehabilitation plan is prepared.
The main goal of this service is to identify difficulties as early as possible and begin targeted, intensive support in order to reduce or compensate for developmental delays.
Most Common Developmental Disorders
Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD)
- Difficulties in interacting with others (the child avoids eye contact, does not understand body language, rarely uses gestures);
- Limited range of interests and activities, a preference for repeating the same actions (strict routines, stereotypical movements such as hand-flapping or spinning objects);
- Speech and language development difficulties: children may speak very little, not use speech for communication, or repeat phrases (echolalia);
- Increased sensitivity to sounds, touch, and smells.
Mixed Developmental Disorder
- Difficulties appear in several areas at the same time: speech, motor skills, social interaction, and cognitive development;
- Children often have difficulty learning to walk, speak, and play with peers;
- The difficulties may vary in severity: they may be more pronounced in one area and milder in another.
Speech and Language Development Disorder
- The child begins to speak later than peers (first words may appear only after the age of 2);
- Difficulty forming sentences and limited vocabulary;
- Incorrect pronunciation and grammatical errors;
- Possible difficulties understanding other people’s speech.
