Day inpatient

In the day inpatient, the patient undergoes the necessary tests, depending on the patient’s condition, he is prescribed treatment, and other specialists consult.

Day hospital services are provided in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Lithuania dated June 6, 2014, according to Order No. B-660 “On Approval of the Description of the Procedure for Providing Day Hospital Services and Paying for Them”. In accordance with the above, procedural, round-the-clock inpatient care – planned diagnostic and/or therapeutic care in the field of individual health care lasting no more than 8 hours is provided to the patient on the same day.

To use the services of the day hospital, a referral from a family doctor or specialist is required.
